The Digital Perm Process — What to Expect
Consultation (before anything):
Your hair history, condition, and the wave size you want. If your hair isn't perm-ready, I'll say so and recommend treatment first.
The perm itself (2–3 hours):
Your hair is sectioned, treated, and wrapped in rods sized to your desired wave. The "digital" part — warm heat — sets the shape while a neutralizer locks it in.
The reveal & styling lesson:
Your waves are dried, shaped, and you're shown how to air-dry them at home — the whole appeal is that morning styling takes minutes.

Scrunch with a leave-in or curl cream and let it air-dry — that’s genuinely it. The digital perm’s whole point is that the wave forms as it dries. No round-brush routine, no daily heat.
Q5: How should I care for it in the first week?
Don’t wash for 48–72 hours, don’t tie or tuck it behind your ears while it settles, and skip the flat iron — heat-set waves remember. After that: sulfate-free shampoo and a weekly conditioner keep the wave living its full lifespan.
