Korean Two-Block Haircut
The two-block is the defining Korean men’s cut: cleanly tapered sides and back “block one,” textured length on top “block two” — a sharp contrast that frames the face and styles in minutes. Cut here with scissor-focused Korean technique, tailored to your hair’s density and the way you actually wear it.
What Is a Two-Block Haircut?
The name says the design: the head is divided into two “blocks.” The bottom — sides and back — is tapered short and clean. The top keeps its length and texture, creating the height-and-contrast silhouette that defines K-pop and K-drama hair. Unlike an undercut, the transition is blended, not shaved-and-shocked — which is what makes the two-block wearable in an office and sharp on a night out. It’s the most requested Korean men’s cut worldwide, and it works with straight, wavy, or permed top texture.

Your Haircut Is the Foundation
Your haircut is often the foundation for the rest of your look.
Cut For Your Head, Not a Template
Two-blocks fail when they’re done as a formula — same taper, same length, every head. Yours starts with your hair’s actual behavior: density at the crown, growth pattern at the nape, how much morning styling you’ll realistically do. The taper is scissor-blended to your head shape, the top length is set to your texture, and the result grows out cleanly instead of collapsing. Whether you wear it styled or air-dried, the block structure holds.
Questions Clients Ask About Two-Block Cuts
Q1: Will a two-block work with straight hair?
Yes — straight hair shows the block contrast beautifully. If you want more top texture, a light top perm (see Two-Block Top Perm above) adds it; the consultation covers whether yours needs it.
Q2: How often do I need trims?
The taper holds its shape 4–6 weeks before the sides need cleaning up. The top can go longer — many clients stretch to 8 weeks and just get the sides refreshed.
Q3: How do I style it in the morning?
Two minutes: light product through the top — clay or cream — and shape with your fingers. Air-dry friendly by design. If you added a top perm, even less: scrunch and go.
Q4: What's the difference between a two-block and an undercut?
Blending. The undercut has a hard line between shaved sides and length; the two-block tapers smoothly, keeping the contrast sharp but the transition natural — which is why it grows out gracefully.
